The City Council of Onís has different e-mail addresses on its website that serve as a communication channel for the purposes established in each case. Likewise, the City Council may sometimes use e-mail as a channel of communication with those with whom it maintains some type of relationship.

The data controller and contact details of the data protection officer are indicated in section 2 of the Privacy Policy.

In attention to the purpose in question, the legitimate basis for the processing of the data of the user / sender of the mail by the City Council will be:

    1. The fulfillment of a legal obligation or the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or the exercise of public powers, in those cases in which the processing arises from the exercise of their powers and functions legally attributed.
    2. The consent given by the user/submitter, in those cases in which it is appropriate, as is the case with the treatment that brings about the subscription of the person concerned to information channels (newsletters).
    3. The existence of a contractual or pre-contractual relationship, in those cases in which the processing is caused by the existence of contractual relations or provision of services.

No communication of data to third parties or transfer to third countries or international organizations is foreseen, unless legally required.

The data collected through e-mail will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to determine the possible responsibilities that may arise from that purpose and the processing of the data.

The lawfulness of the processing is based on Article 6.1.e) of the GDPR: the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers vested in the controller: Law 7/1985, of April 2, 1985, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime. No communication of data to third parties is foreseen unless legally required, nor are transfers to third countries or international organizations foreseen.

The data will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to determine the possible responsibilities that may arise from that purpose and from the processing of the data.
