Guided tour and tasting at Vega de Ario cheese factory
Learn how the famous Gamonéu cheese is made and visit a replica of a port hut.What does it consist of?
Visit our family cheese factory, see the current facilities and a replica of a traditional port hut.
We accompany you on a complete visit. First we will tour the cheese factory, where we will learn about the whole process, from the moment we receive the raw milk until the cheese is labeled and ready to be marketed. Afterwards we will visit the replica of a harbor hut located in the same complex. In it we will tell you, in detail, how cheese was originally made in the Picos de Europa, the techniques, utensils and everything that has to do with the history of this product, accompanied by photos. To finish with a small guided tasting of our Gamonéu.

Adults: 5 € / person
Children from 6 to 12 years old: 3 €.
