They are majestic trees that have been part of our landscape for many centuries. Sweet cider is like apple juice, but it is left to ferment a little, so it tastes much better. If not, you can also see vaques roxes, oveyes xaldes, or pites pintes. Every year, around April, there are ranchers who bring their cattle up from this valley to &#8220;el puertu&#8221;, where they will stay until after the summer. There is something that characterizes our town, and that is cheese. The gamoneu is highly valued, it is made with milk from cows, sheep and goats that graze freely in our valleys and mountains, so it is very healthy. That&#8217;s why the children of Benia grow up so healthy and strong.
